A self-taught silversmith, I've been handcrafting sterling silver jewellery for 32 years. Originally from Victoria, British Columbia, I had a small retail store in Banff, Alberta for 12 years where I made gold and silver jewellery. To escape the crowds, I moved to a semi-remote acreage near 100 Mile House, B.C. from where I now distribute my work through many stores and galleries across Canada. Some of these are listed on the 'stores' page. I explored many techniques and design approaches before arriving at the simple organic forms I currently make. Each piece is individually hand-forged by myself. Nothing is cast or stamped. The material I use is 92.5% silver (sterling silver) and each piece is marked 'sterling' along with a registered trademark (hallmark) - mine is the stylized 'CW' seen at the upper left of the screen. The pieces shown here are a small sample of what is available through the stores, which may have more than 40 ring designs and more than 70 bracelet designs. Most prices range from $40 to $125. My designs are classic and timeless, to be enjoyed in the present and treasured in the future. Customer satisfaction is my goal.
